So right now, i am in bombay (mumbai), india. on my own. (not completely, but i mean my travel partener had to go home, so im here with no one from the UK). It's amazing. crazy. loads of fun. and nice to see other people's lives. the longer you spend with someone or even just people in general, the more you realise life isn't so different. obviously on the outside life is different, but people are people right? they do the same stuff weather it be in hindi, punjabi, telugu, tamil or english!

another thing, aside from India times, but something i realised last night, so maybe it is realted to india times. ANYWAY!

I am sooo lucky/blessed/privileged/honoured to have the group of friends i have, not only do i have many friends all of whom i love, i have a close group of friends that i can be secure in, i can trust them. some of which i have known since birth may i add! how amazing is that!!! i have had the same best friend my whole life! i am so blessed! some people have no friends, some people have no community, but i have this amazing community (actually in more than one place) that i am so thankful for! today at the bandra church here in bombay, Jaya was speaking. she was talking about the importance of community and how it helps us progress in christ. linking it to the paralysed man who's friends carried him to the roof and lowered him down through a hole they made in the ceiling. and how these 3-4 friends who looked after this man (he would have depended on them for everything!) were so important to his healing. he wouldn't be in that place in front of jesus if it wasn't for his friends. and i can honestly say that i wouldn't be at the place i am at now if it wasn't for my friends. on SOOOO many levels i can say i wouldn't be 'here' if it wasn't for 'him' helping me with 'this'! so many examples. so i am thankful to God for my friends, all the glory to him! and i am thankful to my friends! for who they are and what they mean to me! :D thank you! amen. :P
